Your folders, in sync across your own devices
Tressyl keeps folders in sync between your computers, directly and encrypted, without an account on someone else's server.
Status: Beta. Tressyl is not released yet: there is nothing to download for now.
Pre-release software — keep your own backups. Provided without warranty; see the licence.
A real app, not a web page
Native windows and folder pickers. No command line, no settings page in a browser.
Add a device once
Your devices share one identity. A new device joins with a one-time code, and all your other devices trust it.
Direct and encrypted
Devices are addressed by a cryptographic identity and connect directly to each other, end-to-end encrypted, with hybrid post-quantum cryptography.
No server of ours
Tressyl uses no public server by default: your devices find each other on the local network or by IP address, a VPN included. To connect from anywhere, run the relay and discovery services on your own server.
